Bashline (Hicks) Medical Expenses

I am hoping to help raise funds for the Bashline family to help cover medical and other related expenses.  On Tuesday March 3, Jess (Hicks) Bashline went to IRMC and was admitted for pneumonia.    By Friday March 6 she was not responding to any treatments and was getting progressively worse.  At this point, the decision was made to transfer her to Pittsburg where she could receive more specialized care.  Upon her arrival she was placed in ICU and with in 24 hours she was put on a ventilator & feeding tube.  As of this posting, they have tried multiple times to wean her off the ventilator but each time she has had breathing issues & it's turned back on to keep her oxygen saturation up where it needs to be.  Through all of this, Jess has been partially sedated as well. 
As a result of being sick & the extended hospital stay, Jess hasn't worked in well over a week and her husband Shawn is now unable to go to work since he's staying in Pittsburgh with her.  Much like the rest of us, they are a typical, hard working family that lives paycheck to paycheck.   Normally, they are able to make ends meet but not being able to work coupled with the mounting medical bills and travel expenses on top of their regular day to day household expenses, they are getting buried financially. 
As you can see from the picture, this is a beautiful family.  Right now they are truly in need.  They  have proven time & time again that they are there for others in their time of need as Allison, Lisa, Shawn & Cody are all active volunteer firefighters in their communities.  Let's show them that we are here for them as they have been for their friends, family & neighbors.  Any donation amount would be so greatly appreciated.
