Cory's medical bills & household ex
Donation protected
Family and friends....some are aware, and others are not. On February 18th at 4:30 A.M. The love of my life and the air that I breath....my Cory, suffered a seizure, and hit his head on a register at work. He was transported to saint Mary's hospital via ambulance, and put under an induced coma. He was immediately rushed into emergency surgery for a Subdural Hematoma Evacuation. He spent 9 days in ICU, 11 days in the NERO unit, and will be in therapy till around the 25th of March, putting us at 36 days of absolute fear, pain and mystery of his quality of life. The out pour of prayers and support have been abounding. His recovery has been meracqulous! His Sergion was a very gifted angel, and his recovery is going well. So many people have offered help and support, and I have not been able to reach out and ask because I've been doing everything I can think of just to stay upright. Friends encouraged me to set up a donation fund at Wells Fargo, which I have done, but it has been entirely ineffective. So, I'm going to try this route. You can still donate to Wells Fargo, it is the "Cory Correll & Kirsten Vaughan household donation fund". However, I think this will be more convenient for everybody. I pray that the goal I set will be enough, as it it hard to tell at this point what expenses have been accrued. If we exceed our needs, donations will be made to the life adjustment program in grand Junction. It's a Hilltop Program that gives brain injured adults the highest quality of life possible. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated, small and large. Please share and repost. Cory is our breadwinner, and we are unsure when he will be strong enough to return to work. My lesson is to always tell the people in your life how important they are to you.......we never know what the next moment holds. Much love to all! And I humbally thank you!
