Please help my friend Obaida in Gaza

Hi everyone. My name is Josue Labako and I’m from Germany. I am starting this campaign for my good friend Obaida Qahwaji. Obaida is 17 years old and lives with his family in Gaza. He is a very sincere and smart young man who’s always trying to help his family. I had the pleasure of befriending Obaida a few months ago and have been in daily contact with him ever since. Through donation-pools I was already able to collect a few hundred euros to support him. However, the situation is getting worse and worse.

For the conditions in Gaza are more life-threatening than ever before and the suffering of the people can hardly even be put into words. Since the crisis began, and even more so in the last weeks, food prices have skyrocketed and the essentials and even water now have become luxuries. Therefore, I am launching this campaign in hope that these funds can help Obaida and his family bear the horrendous cost of living in Gaza at this moment. I ask from the bottom of my heart for your support, because every donation, no matter how small, can help him and his family during this difficult time.

Hi, I‘m Obaida from Gaza. I’m 17 years old. I’m speaking to you from inside the tent where I now live with my family of 7, after our home and our lives were destroyed by the war. We’re living without electricity, without clean water, without enough food, and without the most basic human rights. Even sleeping is hard. Fear is constant and the children around us are shivering from cold, hunger, and fear. I’m not just speaking for myself; this is the reality for over 2 million people in Gaza today. To anyone hearing me around the world: we need your support, your voice, your solidarity. Even one word, one share, one donation can change lives.
