Oakland United Rowers and East Bay Rowing Club Masters will show up on September 24 and go the distance on the ergometer to support the youth program!

<div>Join us in reaching our <strong>goal of $32,000</strong> to make the sport of rowing accessible to high-school aged youth in the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD). Funds raised will provide the team with uniforms, regatta entrance and travel fees and a scholarship fund for those in need of financial assistance for the 2023-24 rowing season.

<div>The East Bay Rowing Club, and its youth program Oakland United Rowing, is the home of community rowing in Oakland and the East Bay. We value the rich diversity of the communities we serve, and have youth and adult rowing programs designed for beginners, recreational rowers and nationally competitive rowers. We established the Oakland United Rowing program in 2013 and continue to sponsor and partially-fund its operation, which does not receive OUSD funding. We are committed to the personal, athletic and academic excellence of each rower, and the team strives to be competitive while also prioritizing every athlete’s skill development in leadership, collaboration and mental fortitude.
