Oakfield Junior School - Arts & Wellbeing Hub

Exciting News! We are planning an ambitious and much needed project to enhance school and local facilities, to support family wellbeing and promote the Arts.

Currently, the old wooden huts are used for emotional, social and academic interventions, wrap around care as well as for whole class and small group Music lessons. Our vision is to create an Arts & Wellbeing Hub for our school and the wider community. This would also be a welcome addition to the facilities available for families with additional needs and for local community groups to use.

To achieve our goal we need to raise enough funds to demonstrate our commitment to the project, by doing so we can then apply for a grants to fund the majority of the work.

Oakfield Junior School and their FRIENDS (PTA) have already raised over £30,000. To be considered for some of the available grants we need to raise a further £50,000.

We also need to provide evidence upon our grant applications of the local communities interest in the project. If you could kindly complete the short questionnaire, via the link below, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone with relevant experience in securing funding and/or valuable skills in development please contact us at [email redacted]rey.sch.uk any support will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Mrs Tess Trewinnard (Chair of Governors) & Mrs Debbie Willemse (Headteacher)
