Hi,
We're fundraising to help restore a unique, historic boat called ‘OAKDALE' so it can be used as a floating classroom for young people in partnership with the award winning adventure sail training charity MAST.
OAKDALE is the last 'composite Mersey Flat' in the world.
In March 2020, OAKDALE was overwhelmed by a force ten storm that resulted in major damage to her outer planking. The urgent job in hand is to get her stripped out and safely repaired so she can float again. Any funds raised will go towards completing this part of the project.
