Please help the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation; our homelands are on fire, and we have many tribal members directly impacted by the Oak Fire in Mariposa, California. Your donation will allow us to provide services to our tribal members that have lost their homes, are evacuated and are displaced. With your donation support, we will be able to provide clean water, food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance towards basic needs such as transportation, health services, housing, animal care and other essential needs that may arise on an individual and family basis. Our request for your support is an emergency response request. We are a small rural community with limited resources. The Oak Fire is still burning; the Miwuk Nation needs your help. As a non-federally recognized tribe, we are not eligible for state and federal emergency funds; we rely on donations, grants and volunteers to provide services to our people.
