Kristi's Global Glimpse Trip

Hello dear Friends and Family,
I am excited to inform you that I have been accepted into a wonderful summer program called Global Glimpse. Global Glimpse is a program that provides students like me with a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to developing countries such as the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Ecuador. I have been selected to travel to Esteli, Nicaragua. Once we arrive in Esteli, we will take part in community projects such as building schools, teaching english to locals, revitalizing and remodeling parks for kids to play in, renovating libraries, and much more for two and a half weeks.
When I first heard about Global Glimpse I desperately wished to apply. This need to take part in such a program was fulfilled when I was nominated and accepted and I am so very thankful that I have such an opportunity. I am eager to learn about the world and how actions that I can take impact others in developing countries. I am fascinated with this program and how it will teach me the ways in which I can make a positive difference in someone’s life, no matter how small.
So far I have kept up with my $875 monthly payments by selling cupcakes at school with the help of my friends and beloved parents.
As I am not yet at my goal amount, I would greatly appreciate you, my dear friends and family, if you could help send me on this wonderful journey with Global Glimpse by donating to my trip. Even sharing this link would help a bunch!
