Rissler Transportation Fund

Gracie Rissler has been a Girl Scout leader at Arcadia for 30+ years. Recently her husband has fallen ill to cancer and it has become terminal. Gracie has had to travel from Findlay, OH to Columbus, OH for his treatments, doctors appointments, and many hospital stays.

Testimony from Sarah their daughter:

What can I tell you about my dad? He has stage 4 osteosarcoma which is extremely rare. It started in his foot. His foot was amputated, but unfortunately the cancer had spread and is now matasticized (sp?) in his lungs. We are receiving treatment at the James at OSU. The last few weeks have been a real struggle and my mom and I have been in Columbus nearly every day. We finally got him home on Friday, but he was back in the hospital Saturday. They are trying various treatments to help him breathe more comfortably. There is no cure. We are hoping he makes it another 2 months for my wedding, but we're not sure. . If you can donate that would be greatly appreciated and the Rissler family will be forever grateful for any and all donations they receive to aid in paying for gas, food, lodging, etc...
