Tiara's Electric Wheelchair

Donation protected
So I read a Facebook post yesterday that touched my heart. My friend's wheelchair broke down on the Metro in Downtown L.A. yesterday. Thankfully the sheriffs were there to assist her and she made it home safely. But now she's in need of a new wheelchair. So, I got to thinking. What can I (we) do to help someone who needs something that most of us take for granted. Most of us are able to walk AND drive. But what if your only mode of transportation was your wheelchair, BECAUSE of a physical disability that has left you incapable of walking. This young lady is an amazing example of fortitude! She's a first year law student at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. She amazes me because she does not allow her disability to stand in the way of achieving her goals. Get this, she doesn't even complain about her limitations. She shows incredible strength, poise, and character and I'm just amazed at her positive attitude about life and law school in general. I'm asking that we all (if you can) give a small donation of any amount. If 250 people just gave $10 each, Tiara could get herself another electric wheelchair. You know $10 is not a lot, some of us spend WAY more than that on purses, red bottom pumps and even sunglasses. We literally spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on things that we don't really need, BUT want. Imagine if we could all donate $10 or $20 so this amazing young lady could continue being a light for all to see.
