Steven Mandeville's Fundraiser

As most of you may know Steven Mandeville has been recently diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, giving him weeks to months to live. Steven S. and I were able to spend a few days with him before he made the trip back to Montana to finish out his life. During that time we reminisced on all of our great memories as well as what he was planning to do with the rest of his time. We discussed possible bucket list ideas such as going to a Super Bowl, the NCAA championship game, and holding a panda. After brainstorming numerous ideas Steven said that he mainly wants to spend time with his family and friends. Even though everything sounded like a lot of fun, he was hesitant because he is worried about leaving his parents with all of his medical bills and didn’t want to burden them even further.
Steven was supposed to start a new job in Fort Morgan, CO on March 2nd doing Wireline Engineering for Pioneer. Since he would rather be in Montana and spend time with everyone he loves, he isn’t going to be working and this is where the GoFundMe comes in. I had told Steven that we could get a GoFundMe going so he could do something fun if he wanted and he wouldn’t have to worry about the cost, but instead he told me he would prefer help for food.
In order to try and prolong his life, Steven has begun a specific organic fruit, veggie, and nut diet. Because of his cancer and cirrhosis of the liver his diet is quite limited. Since he is no longer working, I told him I would set up a GoFundMe to try and help raise money for his food bills, and all the medical bills. Obviously he is such an incredible person and has always cared for others. Now is a time where we can give back to him for all the things he has given us. If you would like to donate money for Steven please do so, but if nothing else, prayers are greatly appreciated!! I wasn’t sure how much we should do for a goal amount so if we go over, then so be it :) Thank you for all your love and support for Steven and his family during this time of need!!
