Jimmy's medical fund

Two months after being rescued from the Mt Vernon Animal shelter, Jimmy has contracted Parvo.  Poor little guy has been at the vet for three days and will most likely have to stay a couple more days.  He was vaccinated for Parvo on 12/31, so this is very unusual.  The vet said he tested "weak positive" and he has all the symptoms (vomiting and bloody diarrhea).  He also had surgery to make sure there was no blockages.  He is really sick but he is improving.

His Dad Al said today "I just got back from seeing him he was so happy to see me .  My heart is just broken - it is amazing how these little guys can get into your heart so quickly- his white blood count has risen and they are very pleased! And he ate the white rice and turkey I brought him, and they were super pleased about that!!! So things are on the up and up- he is sooooo sad and it's so hard to see him so sick." 

Needless to say the bills for his hospital stay are really high.  They are already around $2500 and will most likely go higher.  He will need follow up visits as well.
