Medical/Funeral Exp for Rocky Rose

Hello friends and family. As you know, my husband and I dearly want children. However, during my recent pregnancy I was admitted to the hospital 2/27/15 for HELLP- a severe form of preeclampsia. It was a matter of life and death for myself and the baby. My liver enzymes and blood pressure had skyrocketed to unsafe zones. I was also at risk of bleeding to death due to low blood platelet numbers. Baby Rocky Rose was way too young to survive outside my body. The hospital and I did our best to try to save both of our lives. However, Rocky's lungs just had not developed enough and could not function independently.
Rocky Rose was born 2/28/15. She had a strong heartbeat inside my body up until the moment of cutting the umbilical cord. When my husband was asked by the nurses what the baby's name was-- he said Rocky. He stated she gave her life fighting for her mother. Many of the hospital staff had referred to her as Rocky because she was a fighter until the end. Ultimately, her little body had not developed enough to survive outside of mommy's body.
My husband and I are facing medical bills and also funeral expenses. I have good insurance, but the medical deductible for my care and also the expenses for Rocky at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will quickly add up. Rocky fought to live for 2 hours after she was born. We are not sure what the medical bills will total in the end. Also, my husband and I need to buy a headstone for Baby Rocky's grave.
Prayers given on my behalf saved my life. We are grateful for the outpouring of prayers and love from friends, family, and strangers. Sadly, we now have to deal with non-spiritual matters such as bills and expenses. We were urged by friends to sign up for a gofundme account--and decided to sign up.
