YWAM DTS Outreach

  Hello my name is Ivana Cooper and I am currently raising funding to continue on in the next step in my journey with God. I have spent the last 2 years of my life serving at a Christian youth home in MX called Esperanza Viva. Though this time in Mexico was a great learning and growing experience, I believe God has called me to a different ministry. Through lots of prayer, guidance, and thought, I have made the decision to join Ywam  (Youth with a mission) ministries through taking a DTS (Descipleship training school). The course is based in Nicoya, Costa Rica, started September 11, 2014 and ends February 14, 2014.

A DTS is an intensive, residential training course which begins with a 12 week classroom phase: including but not limited to lectures and biblical courses and helping different ministries such as, kids club, music ministries, Semillas de Vida (Maternity Project), village evangelism, Bible distribution, and more. This section is followed by an 8 week outreach, to a destination prayerfully decided upon by our group. DTS emphasizes cross-cultural exposure and global awareness. It prepares young adults like myself to be sent out to serve the nations and this would be the best next step in my walk.

I am currently raising funds for the outreach phase of the DTS we have felt the call to serve to children in need, the ill, and unreached people groups in Nepal.

The outreach fee is approximately $4000 includes returnairfare (or bus tickets), lodging, meals and transportation in the country of destination.
