We are devastated to share with you that Lily (Liliana Tulian) was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on Wednesday on March 4, 2015.

Lily is being treated at Utah Cancer Specialists at Intermountain Medical Center. The inoperable tumor is on the head of her pancreas and it is considered to be advanced. The CT scan revealed that she also has spots on her liver. She is scheduled to have a biopsy of her liver on Wednesday 3/11 to determine if the spots are metastasized pancreatic cancer or some other cancer. The results of the biopsy will help the doctor determine the best chemo for Lily’s specific cancer.

Lily will begin chemo therapy the last week of March. She is currently experiencing intermittent stomach pain that can be controlled with acetaminophen. This was her only symptom over the past several weeks and the reason for her visit to her PCP last week.

Lily’s kind and gentle spirit is an encouraging and calming influence to everyone she touches. She is a pillar of strength in her family, in her church and in the preschool program at First Baptist Child Care Center, where she has worked for eleven years. It is now our turn to support and give back to Lily and she begins an uphill battle with this horrible cancer.

Lily is the sole provider for her family. Two of her three children live at home with her. Her son is a senior in high school and her daughter is a psych student at the U of U. Lily’s oldest daughter is married and the mother of Lily’s three little grandchildren (the youngest is 2 weeks old today). All the monies donated to this GoFundMe page will be used to support Lily’s financial needs as has been told by her doctor that she become very sick and will be unable to work during the time she is being treated.

Lily’s faith in GOD is unsurpassed. She reflects His love to all of us. She believes that God is in control of her life. She believes in the power of prayer and asks that each of you would hold her in your prayers and hearts during this time.

Ephesians 3:20 All glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
