A family of 7 lost their home to a fire last night (March 5th) in Buffalo, TX. All are safe.
Four children living in the home. Oldest in the home is a Highschool Senior and extremely close to my children. And it was one of the sibling's birthday. And spring break begins today. Not how they wanted to spend her Senior year spring break I am sure.
I 've been in a house fire as a child and remember the chaos we had waiting on insurance and trying to put a value on our belongings. And trying to get life back to normal. I'm trying to raise immediate funds for clothing and living out of a hotel for awhile. Rental properties are extremely rare in Buffalo. So I will only have this up for a couple days.
Whatever you can donate would be so helpful. There is an extremely small charge for using this program but it does not take away from the family.
