Hello Everyone,
Those of you that know Maggie know her story. For those of you who do not have the pleasure of knowing her here is her story. Maggie is 13 and is missing her corpus coliseum that is a part of her brain. She has very low muscle tone ,walks with a post terrier walker she is non - verbal. When she was little she couldn't have a toddler bike because she didn't have enough muscle to pedal it herself. Now she is older, taller and stronger. Maggie loves to be outside and around people this would make it easier for her to be social and it will help build muscle in her legs.
This started because her parents entered her in free bike contest but she lost. Everyone who voted for her still wants to help, so this is why I started a gofund.
The bike she needs is a DCP16 Adaptive Pediatric Special. It has to be custom to fit her needs. It will be
Hot Rod Purple.. ha-ha. Maggie's family has never asked/received any donation. Between her parents and
2 bothers, 16 & 15 they do everything. I think it would
great to get this special wonderful sweet girl a bike.
