Hello All,
I am grateful to be able to ask you to consider partnering with me for an endeavor that has been on my heart for a while. Upon graduating from Morehouse College on May 17, 2015(Hallelujah!!!), I will be doing an internship with the International House of Prayer Atlanta mission’s base. For the past three summers, I have enjoyed being in the corporate world as an intern at major corporations such as the Chick-fil-A, Nationwide Insurance internships, and Google Bold freshman Immersion Program. However, I have felt a tug on my heart to spend a season with God ever since my sophomore year in college. I believe that this is the perfect time to do so... post graduation. I want to take a non-conventional route to post-grad life by spending 12 weeks going deeper with Jesus and exploring His direction for my life. I long to sit at His feet, while growing in a deeper understanding of the Bible, growing in the Spirit of prophecy, evangelism, healing and more. This internship will provide just that, as I will be a part of a 24/7 missions base in which I will be on devotional sets, ministering to the Lord in song and intercession. I will also have the opportunity to participate in the prayer room at least 25 hours a week, evangelize in different places in Atlanta, take classes in the Forerunner School of Ministry, work in the Helps Ministry, and participate in conferences. Whether God calls me back to corporate life, graduate school, or to become a full-time missionary, I believe that God will not only provide provision for my next steps during this season, but I also believe this internship will give me an incredible foundation to thrive and grow to become the man that God is calling me to become. Any of you who know me, know that I would not ask this for any other reason than the fact that I love the Lord with all my heart and I yearn to find my life's mission. I humbly ask your support for this mission to cover the housing and tuition costs for this internship. I thank you in advance for whatever you feel led to give and I express my deepest gratitude to you as I grow to continue fulfilling the Great Commission.
