Donation protected
*UPDATE* We are saddened to announce that on 8/24/21 Del Weston left this world and crossed over into eternal life. We know that Del's presence will be missed by so many and we thank you all for your continued love, prayers and support for the family. The family is facing a grave financial crisis with the passing of their sole breadwinner and all donations are greatly appreciated by the family. Thank you all so much and God Bless all of you.

Del Weston's Obituary

It’s hard to imagine that it’s been a month since I watched my dear friend, Del Weston, get placed on a stretcher and wheeled into the back of an ambulance. As I looked up at him in the back of the ambulance, in his extremely weakened and frail state, he managed to lift his hands up and form them into the shape of a heart to show me that he loved me. That’s the thing about Del, even in his weakest state, he still chooses to use his energy to show and express his love to others.

Del is the most selfless man I have ever met. He is always putting others before himself and going out of his way to ensure the happiness, comfort and safety of his loved ones before all else. He is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back or give you the last $20 out of his wallet if he felt you needed it more (I’ve seen him do this very thing before). He is a man of God who is driven by his faith, which is apparent in all of his interactions with others. Anyone who knows Del surely has a story of a time where he went above and beyond to make them feel welcomed, or cared for, or did something extraordinary to help them out and show them they were loved. Del genuinely cares about all those that cross his path in life and now this deeply caring man needs our help.

On 7/10/2021 Del was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with double pneumonia and acute renal failure and was suffering from a severely low blood oxygen level. Even with these diagnoses, Del, his family and his loved ones truly believed that he would heal and be home within a week. Unfortunately this was not the case and a week into his hospital stay he took a turn for the worse and he was intubated and placed on a ventilator to assist his breathing. Del is still currently unconscious on a ventilator and fighting for his life every second of the day.

Del is a husband to his wonderful wife Theresa and a father to two beautiful children who have not been able to see their father in over a month. Furthermore, Del is the sole breadwinner for his family and since being hospitalized, has not been able to provide for his family. On top of this family suffering the emotional toll of waiting for him to return home, they are also facing a financial crisis as their sole provider is unable to provide for them now.

We are asking for donations to help financially support Del’s wife and children while he is in the hospital as well as to cover the medical bills which so far have amounted to over one hundred thousand dollars, as Del does not have insurance and has been hospitalized for over a month now. The Weston family is in desperate need of our help at this time and any amount that you can donate will go directly to a family in need. All donations will go directly to the Weston family to cover living costs for Theresa and the kids, such as rent, utilities, groceries, etc..Thank you and God Bless.
