Papa Luke needs a car

My name is Luke Eacersall and I'm a 27-year-old carpenter, and the father of a premature baby who's still struggling to survive. Our house is full of oxygen tanks and my wife is a full-time mum and carer.
My wife Beth went into labour last October way too early, three months early, and our twins boys were born just 24 weeks into the pregnancy.
The week they were born I was driving to the brain surgeon to find out whether one of my baby boys, Archer, would live, when my car's engine blew.
The brain surgeon told us how serious Archer's brain bleed had been. It was really bad, and he died six days later.
Our other little boy, Reef, survived against all odds, and my wife travelled to Brisbane every day after dropping our 3 year old daughter at kindy, to sit by his side.
He was so fragile she couldn't hold him for two months.
You get to be scared of the phone ringing, because the bub's health can turn so quickly and they ring to tell you to come straight away. Each day could be the last.
The doctors said Reef had about a 20% chance of survival, but the little superhero beat all the odds, and now he's home with Beth, our daughter Myla and I.
It's still really precarious, even though he's home, and now the pressure's all on us to look after him.
I hate asking for help.
I'm a good worker, and a strong guy, or I thought so before this happened. I just want to be the steady one for my wife and kids.
I've never dealt with anything like this before, and I'm doing my best, but it's so, so hard.
I can't face the thought of not having a car, so I'm asking for help to fix it.
I borrowed $7,000 from my folks to replace the engine the first time it died, but two weeks ago it overheated again and now I'm going to have to replace it - again. Or I might just have to buy a new car. Any money donated will go into either:
- paying folks back for the first mechanics bill
- fixing the car, or
-buying a new one.
