Kathy’s Medical Expense Fund

Kathy Brackman is a wonderful and charismatic woman who suffered an unexpected severe stroke due to a possible autoimmune or blood clotting disease. The cause of the stroke was due to clots found in Kathy's heart and she has scarring on the heart and poor contractility of the heart. Kathy has battled multiple health issues the past two and a half years including lumbar surgery and cervical spine surgery, abdominal surgeries, heart failure, chronic blood loss and iron deficiency, which has left her limited in her ability to work and support herself financially. Kathy was also recently declined for spinal surgery for pain relief as docs believe her pain is too widespread and surgery would be unsuccessful. The last option will be the implantation of a spinal stimulator that will help to override the nerve pain she feels daily. We hope to raise money to assist Kathy with these upcoming medical costs (She will be responsible for 20% of all medical procedures. The surgery alone is $20,000!).
