I don’t even know where to begin... these 2 people, Mrs Jeanne and Mr John (as Keegan so lovingly refers to them) have entered into my life almost 3 years ago. When they became Keegan’s child care providers. John has always been present but childcare is Mrs Jeanne’s forte. She has been doing this for nearly 40 years. Mr John is a builder, an architect, a master modeler and as of late he wears many hats, and completes odd jobs around the house at the request of Mrs Jeanne. But it wasn’t until recently he became a second set of eyes and hands in Mrs. Jeannes childcare business; however, in doing so he has gained the love of so many little hearts including my son and daughter. They hear his voice, see his face or just simply feel his love in his big teddy bear embraces and they are delighted. The kids there are Mr. John’s “sugar bears”
These two people are also filled with so much faith, they have been smiling and peacefully navigating this mountain they have been dealt. This past Sunday, January 5, 2020 John was admitted to the hospital and it has been determined he has cancer in the pancreas, colon, and stomach. This is only day 3 of what I believe is a very long journey ahead of them. They are two of the strongest people I know, they have 2 beautiful daughters and 6 wonderful grandchildren. But they do not have traditional medical insurance and that is the reason I initiated this go fund me account. It is also unbeknownst to them, or their family that I’ve done this. But it is a small request to support them during this season of unknowns that lies ahead with surgery, treatment, hospital visits etc.
Mrs Jeanne and Mr John have become an extension of my family tree. I love them so much because they LOVE my babies so much. And treat them like their own. I know they have positively impacted so many other families over the years and I thought this would be an incredible gift to offer them. To let them know what an impact they’ve made in so many little hearts who’ve grown up under their roof and loving care.
In short, if you are able to give, please donate whatever you are comfortable giving, and know it is 100% going to the Wise family. (Since you may not know me) but more important than giving, please pray for Mr John and his family. I truly believe there is power in prayer and if we all lift his name up to the Almighty Healer, one true GOD, I know they will feel HIS presence. And one last request, I personally have stepped away from being active on social media and do not know exactly how to spread this link to others outside of FB and a text message. So feel free to share with other families who know or have been cared for byJeanne and John Wise.
