Recording New Music

Hey friends and family!

Over the past few years, life has changed a lot! My wife and I just celebrated five years of marriage; our baby girl will soon be a year old, and it feels like time is flying by! As most of you know, I have been playing music most of my life. It is one of my greatest passions. I strongly feel that it's what I was created to do. So, over the past few months, my wife and I decided to set aside time to pray about what God would have us do next. I have dedicated the last twelve years of my life to the local church, and it has been an honor to serve in this way. (I'm not leaving, LOL) With that, much of my time has gone to things other than writing and recording new music. Since committing to pray for direction, Natalie and I both feel that through several different ways, God has made it extremely clear that I need to keep pursuing music. I believe the time has come for me to pursue this again. To start writing again! So, I have been! I have ten new songs that I am super excited about. I feel they are some of the most honest songs I've ever written. Songs about my life, my faith and my struggles and, in all of it, God's continued grace and faithfulness. They are not all necessarily songs for Sunday morning worship, but they are worshipful, honest and authentic. I hope to encourage people and point them towards hope in Jesus.

So, this is where I need your help. To record, produce and finalize these songs takes money. With the cost of living in SoCal and a baby to feed, I can't afford to do this project alone. So I'm doing something I don't particularly like to do...I'm asking for help. If you would like to donate, it would mean so much. Production and studio time cost around $1,750 per song. Each song has to be mastered, which is about another $175 a piece. Obviously, $5,000 will not cover a full album, but it can help me get started! More than anything, please pray for the Lord to continue to guide me and give me new songs. May He receive all the glory. Thank you all so much in advance for the support. Much love - Shane
