<div><strong>To know <em>Randy</em> is to love <em>Randy</em></strong> - <em>he’s certainly one of a kind!</em> My brother is <strong>full of zeal with an undeniable zest for life</strong> &amp; would do absolutely anything for anyone. But right now <strong>HE NEEDS OUR HELP</strong>. Since he was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM) in December, we have been rallying beside him &amp; behind him in his fight. For those of you unfamiliar with GBM, it is the most aggressive form of brain cancer. There is no cure &amp; there are few effective treatment options available.

<div>After extensive research &amp; consultations with more than a half dozen of the nation’s most renowned medical experts, we have decided to move forward in pursuing <strong><em>Randy’s</em> most promising treatment option</strong>. He was recently approved to receive a series of <strong>personalized tumor vaccines called CeGaT in Tübingen, Germany</strong>.<em> </em>It is designed to harness the immune system to recognize and attack <em>Randy’s</em> specific cancer cells, offering a targeted approach utilizing 20 personalized peptides extracted directly from <em>Randy’s</em> tumor tissue DNA. The US equivalent of this vaccine only uses 1 peptide and it is not personalized to the tumor itself.

<div><em>*Studies show CeGAT can increase life expectancy by </em><strong><em>more than 50%</em></strong><em> which is far superior to standard therapies. This cutting-edge treatment is not yet approved in the US.</em>

<div>While this treatment brings us hope, it also comes with significant financial challenges. This treatment is <strong>NOT covered by insurance </strong>&amp; will cost<strong> $120,000 collectively </strong>for vaccine production, administration, monitoring, &amp; travel expenses. <em>Randy</em> will need to travel to Germany on <strong>11 separate occasions</strong> for treatment.
