For those of you who don't know me, my name is Alexa, the daughter of Phila Callahan. My Mom was Destiny's nurse and friend for about 15 years. Destiny even called my Mom her second mom. They had a special relationship, and because of that she became part of our family. Destiny's family is our family and because of that I am asking for your help.
Destiny passed away at home on August 29. She had been in a battle for her life for over 15 years. Destiny was a very positive and happy human being in spite of her constant suffering. She was one to always look on the bright side, regardless of what was going on. My Mom said she never heard Destiny say an unkind word about anyone. Destiny has taught so many people that loving and caring for each other and trusting God is why we are here. Destiny will be missed by so many people but God will be happy to have one of his true angels back in heaven with him!
Funeral costs add up quickly and this family doesn't need any more worries so if you are able to donate anything it will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small!
