Nymboida community bush fire fund

The Nymboida community has been devastated by a huge fire storm which has destroyed many, many peoples homes. This campaign has been set up for friends and family of community members who would like to support the Nymboida community to recover from this horrific event that has affected us all. Considering we all share so many friends in common, we thought it would be good to have a community focused fundraiser for those who would not be able to donate to many individual families.

Once the community has dealt with the immediate impacts of this devastating event, there will be discussions among community members about how best to use the money raised. We will provide information to all the people who donate about how this money is used. For those who would like to donate to particular families, please contact them to ask the best way to do this.

We (the organisers) are the daughters of Laena Stephenson (formerly Laena Jongen-Morter). Our family property is on Glens Creek Rd, and the house of both our mother and step father (Dave Stephenson) and one of us (Kaya Jongen) were completely destroyed in the fire, along with so many others in our beautiful community. We as organisers of this campaign are committed to being transparent about how the money each of you kindly donates is used and we appreciate your patience as we figure this out.

We have added Anni wolf as our benificiary as she is the treasurer of nymboida community groups incorporated (NCGI) she will be responsible for withdrawing the funds and passing them onto the community.
