Hi everyone. We're a group of freelance creatives and small business owners who are immigrants & minorities in NYC raising money to give temporary financial assistance for other professionals like us who have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
There is lots of commentary on the presumed impact of Covid-19 on independent professionals and gigsters -- and many of us are already feeling the impact. Whether it's from canceled gigs, lost jobs, illnesses or a lack of business due to coronavirus scares, we want to provide immediate relief to those at financial risk. Most immigrants - including legal ones - have little support from the government when it comes to situations like this, and we want to make sure everyone feels safe and secure during these difficult times.
