<div>On June 3, a devastating fire tore through Nyack Plaza, displacing 13 families. Many of them are longtime neighbors who have shaped the spirit and strength of this village.

</div>
<div>These are not strangers. They are our elders, our coworkers, our classmates, our friends. Families who have built lives here, contributed to local schools, cared for neighbors, and made this community what it is. They are now facing heartbreaking loss—of homes, memories, and a sense of safety.

<div>The Nyack NAACP &amp; St. John Deliverance Tabernacle Church, Nyack is stepping in, not as charity, but as community. This is about mutual care. We take care of our own.
