Sonny's C-19 Employee Relief Fund
Donation protected
As a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and complying with social distancing strategies, Sonny Lubick Steakhouse, a fine dining establishment in Fort Collins, CO, had to layoff approximately 30 staff members. The hardest hit are the hourly employees, many of which rely on tips for their income. This fund is to raise money for these hard-working and dedicated team members who have made Sonny's what it has become since it's inception in 2008.
My name is Rick "RC" Callan, and I am the co-founder of the Sonny Lubick Steakhouse. These funds are needed ASAP to help provide relief to the staff impacted by this unplanned C-19 hiatus. We are grateful for our guests and friends during this time of need, and look forward to providing the Sonny Lubick Steakhouse experience again after we conquer this C-19 pandemic.
The Sonny Lubick Steakhouse started with a vision for a place where people could enjoy great food, good company and a warm atmosphere, and at the same time honor Sonny Lubick, the coach who put Colorado State University football on the map.
The idea of Sonny Lubick Steakhouse was to create a locally inspired, owned and operated venue that would continue the tradition of other great restaurants in downtown Fort Collins. The uniqueness of Sonny Lubick Steakhouse came from years of watching Sonny inspire those around him, both on and off the field. It was decided that the restaurant that bears his name would have a "polished casual" atmosphere with a menu offering a new twist on conventional steakhouse fare.
