Medicine for Nova

Donation protected
We picked up Nova & Nebula from the cat & kitten rescue on Tuesday 22nd October - on Thursday 24th October we notice that Nova was a little lethargic. Both kittens were just over 5 months old and so we had booked an initial visit to the vets Friday 25th October.

Nova had a temperature, one week later she was having trouble walking, 2 weeks later she was hardly able to walk, an eye infection, not able to feed herself or use the litter tray all neurological signs.  Blood tests for Coronovirus and Feline Infectious Peritonitis were done.

Nova's health continued to deteriorate, so much so we took it in turns to stay with her 24 hours a day - hand feeding her & looking after her.  We got a call from the vet to say she was positive for both Coronavirus & FIP and that we should put her to sleep.

Heartbreaking situation,  we searched the internet and found that there was a trial for a new ground breaking drug which had been successful.  So after 5 weeks of treatment her symptoms are all reversing and its really amazing and its working so well.  Nova has still got 7 weeks of the drug left.

Any donation no matter how small would be fantastic
