Two months ago our dear friend Ilya Marchenko was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Cancer in his lungs, which is currently at stage 4. Recently, he started chemotherapy and by the grace of God has helped emphatically. As many may know, patients that endure this procedure go through the toughest times of the battle. Besides the many painful side effects of chemotherapy the cancer has also affected Ilya's breathing ability. A special machine has been assigned to help with the breathing while he gets the strength to breathe on his own.



Many of us know Ilya as a dedicated, highly organized and a much disciplined strong spirited human being. His colleagues at work view him as an amazing example of a true leader, hard worker, and a willingness to take on responsibility and face challenges with courage every single day. At the same time Ilya always has been supportive, understandable and open to help anyone. It was well known that Ilya always puts his lovely family, friends, church and most importantly God ahead of himself. He is an amazing father of three kids and a caring and loving husband for his wife Raisa. At this crucial time, family and friends are doing everything in their power to help him to regain his health and strength back.



While his family, relatives and friends are here to help, there is still an urgent need. The ability to provide financially has been extremely tough since Ilya was the primary financial supporter in the household. His family has a very significant amount of financial expenses, aside from all the cancer expenses, that has put them behind.
