Esther's Eyesight

Ten years ago Esther was involved in a head-on collision. She lost her husband, brother-in-law, daughter, and grand daughter. She was the only one to survive but she did lose 50% of her sight in her right eye. A month ago she went to the hospital for an eye exam and ended up getting the covid-19 virus at the hospital. She's been in ever since. They gave her an eye exam a few days ago and now she lost 60% of her sight in both eyes now. The doctors told her they can save her sight with lazer surgery. But until she is able to get her surgery her medications are $1100 a month. We met this year and as a couple, we both experienced tragedy. I was impaled by a guardrail and clinically dead 5 times. Up until 15 years ago I suffered with severe chronic pain, but then it became crippling. I lost my career and had to retire early on disability. I am doing pain management since but it doesn't always help. Esther only has 2 or 3 relatives in this country who try to help a little. I can't help living on disability. I feel so bad cause of the pain her eyes are giving her. I prayed for an idea that would give her relief, and then I found this site. She is a very humble person and won't ask for help from others cause she doesn't want to be a burden to others. She'll be very mad if she finds out what I am doing, but I can't sit back and watch her suffer. It hurts me too cause she is out of state and I can't even go visit her. Any help would be appreciated, and if possible, we will pay it back. Thank you and God bless.     Greg
