Save The Bear Trap

So, this is legit.  I found out today that Margaret was issued a temporary liquor license, and upon placing her liquor order for this weekend, was denied her order.  There is a lot to this story, but to sum it up, the previous owner (who I refuse to name, like Voldemort) never paid taxes to the state of Wyoming.  The State has decided to put a lien on The Bear Trap which in turn, means no liquor license, until the taxes ($9221) are pain IN FULL.  There is still a temporary license issued for this weekend, so don't fret, the show will go on.  (Possibly only this weekend though.) 

I want everyone to know that I am completely acting on my own on this, Margaret has been my employer, my friend, and my family.  We all know how stubborn and pig headed she can be, but in some weird way, that's also why we love her.  She would never, ever ask for help, as we all know, so I'm doing it for her.  When I went to The Trap today to check in, she seamed broken and defeated.  Over the past couple months I have spent a lot of time with her, some days wielding a cleaning rag, and others a hammer, but this is the first time she seemed like she might not be able to do it... 

So, I am asking, anyone, anyone that has come to The Trap and felt at home.  Anyone who has come into the bar and told a ranch kid off, or taken one home.  Anyone who flew in for an amazing backyard festival, and had the time of their lives.  Anyone that has come in to find me behind the bar, and lit up, just a bit because you knew you could slew a line of shit at me and I'd take it. 

Please help Margaret with this bill.  A bill that kicked her in the gut three days before her grand opening.  A bill that was 100% "she-who-must-not-be-named" fault for pure neglect of understanding how a business works, and in turn, screwing Margaret over to the fullest amount.  Please help.  Please donate anything you can. In fear of the license being pulled, she needs $9221now.  Her fear is that she might only have until Wednesday of next week.  

I hope that in some crazy, stab in the dark, we can make this happen.  I'd also love to offer an incentive.  If anyone donates $100 or more, I will make a special, limited, one of a kind, Beartrap t-shirt with all those donors names on the back.  A little list of the people that meant so much to this tiny little bar, in this tiny little town,  and helped keep the doors open.  

I cannot express enough how important this is to me, our town, and I know, that once Margaret is done "being pissed" at me for doing this, she too will be so grateful for any help she can get.  Anything helps, let's keep our little bar afloat!!
