This is for a friend, a single mother who has recently left her abusive partner.

She works in the food and beverage industry and lives paycheck to paycheck. She currently walks an hour to work and does not have a car. She is staying with family, sleeping on an air mattress.

Her ex-partner controlled the bank accounts and has withheld her ID so she cannot cash her paychecks until she gets a new one.

I am trying to raise enough money for her to put down a deposit on an apartment and buy a car. Without help, her options only get worse. Anything helps.
