This is an untimely story that happened to a very humble man named Gabino Campos, my father. This incident happened on February 26, 2018 in which he went to a doctor's visit, this was due to the fact that the previous night he had passed with a lot of vomiting and very little movement. My mother (his wife) decided to go to a Doctors Care, after having detected dehydration and problems in the pancreas he was sent to Conway Medical Center, SC. He arrived at that hospital, along with his wife, at 10:30 am and although they were already on a note to be treated immediately; unfortunately medical malpractice by the hospital occurred and they were cared for until 2:00 p.m. In spite of having been attended, they took approximately 3 hours taking medical exams of him. By then it was too late and he had already had a stroke; they told my mother and they let her know that he had to be transferred to the Grand Strand Medical Center due to lack of machinery to take care of him. After spending a whole day in the hospital and not seeing any reaction, my mother asked if he was still sedated. Upon hearing a negative response from the doctor, she knew immediately that he was in a coma. We have been almost 2 months in the hospital taking care of my father daily, my mother does not work and I earn a minimum salary that does not help our situation much, since we are a family of 5. Not to mention that my dad will soon be discharged from the hospital due to lack of insurance and we will not have anywhere to get money for his machines and medicine that he still needs because of his condition. That is why we ask for your help and solidarity, because my father always helped all those who needed him and now he needs you. So if you help us even a little bit with whatever comes from your heart, we and God will be very grateful. Again, may God bless you and keep you in his heart and of course thank you very much for your donations and help ❤
