Funeral Expenses for Michael

Dear family, we need to come together as a family at this time to help pay the funeral home expenses for Michael. Michael is Edwina's grandson, Robin's son. His body is at the funeral home and Robin's friend has been handling as much as she can. Without money, they said they would only be able to do a mass cremation of homeless and poor people and return a mixed portion of it to the family. I hope you agree that everyone deserves the dignity of an individual cremation. His ashes will be scattered (over his Mom, Mimi's, and cousin Geoffrey's graves). Kathy was able to get the home to reduce the cost for cremation and preparing and sending the death certificate etc because there are no funds or immediate family. The reduced total due will be $1,344.19.
GoFundMe takes a small percentage of what we collect, so I have made the total amount that we are hoping to raise $1,500 to offset that charge. Hopefully, if we each donate what we can, we can come up with enough to pay the funeral home and give him a proper 'farewell'.
