Lily's Surgery

For those of you that may know Lily, you’ll know she is three year old, extremely crazy, fun loving, high energy, adventurous boxer who is considered a member of the family by us, her owners, Jordyn and Derek.  We found out about a week ago that she tore her ACL or had a cruciate ligament rupture in her hind left leg. The cost of this surgery is way out of our budget as we are expecting our very first baby (human baby that is), a little girl/sister for Lily, in late May. Jordyn has been on maternity leave since early March as stress levels at work were too high and we didn’t want to risk anything.


We know it’s a lot to ask for help from others but we’re hoping that anyone who knows and loves Lily personally, or through social media, to donate and help get her health back to 100%. Every dollar counts and no donation is too small, every cent would be so very appreciated. 

Without surgery Lily would inevitably tear her ACL in her other leg and arthritis would set in very early in her life. She would not be able to run around, wrestle with other dogs or hop like she loves to for the rest of her life and we can’t bear the thought of having to hold her back for another hopefully 8-12 years of life.

We would donate any excess funds to a local non-profit organization for dogs as we’re not looking for any money, all we want is our crazy girl back to full health so she doesn’t have to live in pain or be held back from expending all the energy she has.
