Brandon's recovery

Our precious Brandon was in a serious wreck Monday July 17th and is in I.C.U. in Texarkana. He's 17 years old. We are grateful for how many people have already called or come by to tell us they were praying and thinking of him. I know that this only scratches the surface of how many people he has already made an impression on in his life. I think anyone who knows him would tell you, he is a tough kid with a big heart. Currently, Brandon has a fractured scapula, a broken rib, a lung contusion and head trauma being the most serious. He has been unconsious since the wreck, however, he is moving all of his limbs and responding to simple commands like squeezing hands and thumbs up. He continues fighting to breathe without his breathing tube, and we know he will keep improving with each day. We have the longest of roads ahead of us before he is "in the clear". Hours turn into days that turn into weeks that will turn into months. We can't even express how proud of him we are already, however we still have a tremendous journey ahead of us. He is the biggest fighter, a true hero in all of our hearts. Our family is thankful, as we know there are tons of people sending the best of vibes our way. Stay positive. Stay fighting. Stay brave.
