<div>For 7-8 Years, the Bonnyville Voyageurs were blessed to have Miriam as a team trainer on and off the field, alongside her father and Head Coach, Larry Godziuk.

<div>She attended college to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and her mother, Jennifer, said, "Miriam would've made a great nurse. She'd been through so many illnesses and injuries that she would've almost always been able to reassure patients with an "Oh, I've had that before! Here's how it's going to happen and going to feel..." She finished one year of an LPN program, and we hoped once her health stabilized, she'd do the second. I'm thinking of starting a scholarship in her name.".
