Nurse Battling Cancer

This is my good friend Darryl.     He is a fellow nurse at Pikeville Medical Center for over 15 years.     Darryl is currently battling colon and liver cancer.    He has worked night shift while taking chemotherapy for months now.    I don’t know how he’s done it.    But now he has gotten to the point that he’s unable to work for at least a month.      His long term disability won’t kick in for four weeks.        He is a wonderful man  who has devoted his life to taking care of those in need.     Now,  he’s the one in need.     He is going through a horrible time and a very tough treatment regimen.     I hope we can ease his burden by helping him to not worry about how he’s going to buy groceries or pay his regular bills.    I’ve seen our PMC family and community come together so many times before.    And we need to do it now.   I’ve taken it upon myself to start this campaign.      But I know he will be so grateful for your blessings.    Please help in anyway you can.   And please, please share.
