Mom & child left destitute after apartment fire
My daughter (Mikita) and my granddaughter (Kiyomi), are the victims of this fire which started around 3:00am this morning 2/25/16. Here's a link to the Fox 13 news report:- http://fox13now.com/2016/02/25/millcreek-three-plex-destroyed-in-fire-no-one-injured/
They lived in the back apartment where the fire completely obliterated every single iota of their belongings. They are now destitute, without food, shelter and clothing. They were fortunate to have awakened in time to escape serious bodily harm and my daughter heroically ran to the neighboring apartments and alerted those tenants who also escaped without injury.
My daughter is understandably traumatized and depressed right now so I thought I would start this campaign to try and help her gain some measure of hope. The $5000 figure is just my guestimate of what it will cost to get her and my granddaughter back on their feet - finding another apartment, replacing furniture, food, clothing etc.
I wish I could afford to help them all on my own, but I am not able to. Thanks in advance to those who feel a desire help.
