<div>Each year, 100+ Nuclear Test Veterans and their families attend a week long annual reunion at Pontins, Sand Bay, Weston-Super-Mare. This important reunion allows the veterans to meet old colleagues, and aims to reduce loneliness and improve the mental health of the veterans.

<div>The average age of a British Nuclear Veteran is now 86 and for many this is their only holiday. They look forward to it each year. We provide entertainment and traditional dancers as well as updates from around the world.

<div>This reunion is desperately important, many of our veterans now live alone and to relive old memories, discuss their time at the tests and look at old photos and videos is incredibly important. Friendships are made which last forever and many keep in contact throughout the year.
</div>

<div>In 2024, we hosted 116 veterans and their families with a kind donation from the Office for Veterans Affairs, which paid for the basic accommodation, the administration and the entertainment. Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure a sponsor for 2025 and we need £25,000 to make this week free for the veterans.

<div>The week costs £149.00 per person for basic accommodation, which includes 4 nights stay, breakfast and evening meal as well as all of the entertainment.

<div>We host an Hawaiian night, where everyone dresses up and we have traditional dances from the KTA Association. Their smiles and laughter is what makes the reunion.
