NTSA Summer Program Fund

Hi! My name is Sheehan Personett and I am a sophomore at Fenton High School. I am a competitive dancer at Ms. Bridget's School of Dance and I am in the 2018/2019 IB Theatre class.




I have always loved the theatre whether it's dancing, singing, acting or all three at once. I have danced on stage and have helped build props, but this year I decided that I should start acting.

I am currently in Clio Cast and Crew's production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where I play Mrs. Salt and am a part of the Oompa Loompa dance team. One of the producers of the show even also asked a friend and I to choreograph and perform a dance for the production!

I decided to audition for the summer training program National Theatre for Student Artists (NTSA) and I was accepted! I was one of the 40 selected out of 650 applicants.

I am going to be in the musical The Dolls of New Albion. At NTSA I will be rehearsing all day for 3 weeks in preparation for the final performance, and my off-Broadway debut, in New York City at the York Theater! I will also have the opportunity to practice audition songs and monologues with theatre professionals for future auditions.

I am thrilled that I was selected to participate, and I am out of my mind excited to attend in July.

In addition to asking for your help with donations on this GoFundMe, I'm also doing art commissions on my Instagram, and all earnings from my side jobs will go towards my goal.

All of the money I raise will go directly to paying for the NTSA tuition. It will cover course fees, accommodations like room/board and meal plans, and transportation.
