Hello, my name is Olivier Bergeron, and today I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. This is not easy for me to write, but I truly believe that the kindness of strangers can make a difference in my life, as it has for so many others.

Like so many students, I’ve worked incredibly hard to get where I am today. I’ve spent years preparing for my dream of attending university, a dream that represents the future I’ve always imagined for myself—one where I can pursue a meaningful career, help others, and build a better life for myself and my family. But everything changed in the blink of an eye, and my future now feels uncertain.

Recently, I was the victim of an online scam. The fraudsters posed as a legitimate service, promising me financial assistance for my university tuition. Trusting them was a mistake I’ll never forget. They convinced me to send a significant amount of money, claiming it was part of the process to unlock the support I needed to pay for school. Afterward, I discovered I had been deceived. The money I had sent was gone, and the scam’s creators vanished without a trace.

I was left with nothing—no tuition funds, no savings, and no way to move forward. The scammers not only stole from me, but they stole my hope. The money I lost was everything I had saved, and now, without it, I won’t be able to attend the university I worked so hard to get into. This setback feels like a blow I never saw coming.

But I refuse to give up on my dreams.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Even the smallest donation could make a huge difference in my ability to get back on track. I know it’s hard to trust people in today’s world, but if you have even a little to spare—whether it’s one cent, one dollar, or anything else—it would help me rebuild what was lost. Every penny will go directly toward my tuition fees and getting back to the university that I’ve worked so hard to be accepted into.

I don’t want to let this setback define me. I want to keep pushing forward, to pursue my education and make something meaningful out of my life. This is my last chance to make that dream a reality.
