Raise The Barn

My parents, Chuck and Adria, have always worked hard and helped others along the way.  They are always the first to help a neighbor, whether they need to stack hay bales, give a ride to town, or tow a car out of the snow.  They volunteer for a horse breed rescue society, and give a home to neglected horses until permanent homes can be found.  To support their small farm, they both work full time.  Recently, they took myself and my two small children in, adding to their financial burden, with open arms.

This morning, the arena collapsed.  Although we removed the snow that we could, the rain soaked the remaining snow and brought it down.  It had just passed the ten year mark.  We were preparing to put a more solid barn up in the next couple years.  But now, all the horses winter hay, our tractor, our farm equipment...it's all exposed to the elements.  We will lose most of it.  I'm asking, on behalf of my amazing parents, for your help.  Please help raise a barn for these hard working folks.  Not having a barn for next year would mean having to find emergency homes for all of our horses, and probably never getting them back.  It's a devastating loss.  Anything you can do will help.  Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
