You go through life with many challenges, some you overcome and some can be overwhelming. One morning, getting ready for work, my brother-in-law, Don Hunt from R.A. Hart Plumbing, who has been working for several years supporting the family business with his father-in-law got an unexpected life challenge that many never recover from.
One morning doing his normal routine... stepping out side, in front of his own home, he comes to find something missing... His vehicle! Not just any vehicle either, but his work truck, containing all of his plumbing tools he uses to support not only his family, but his wife's family as well.
Over $50,000 of his own money, he worked for, he saved for, was gone. Tools required to do a job and do it right. From a $10,000 camera snake, several power tools, pipe threaders, welders and job site materials planned to be used that day including personal hand tools given to him by his father who has now passed are now all gone.
Now, my brother-in-law is not someone to ask for help, but sometimes you need support from more than just your family to combine strengths and overcome. There are no sick days he can take, no vacation and unfortunately no insurance to cover situations to this level.
We, the Fierheller's, are reaching out to all of you for your help. Don is not only a great man, but a wonderful father. Please help us, to help him, get back some of his life and find a way to get back to work.
