NRG Wheelchair Basketball Team

During this past weekend (July 28th -30th) the NRG Wheelchair Basketball Club had their equipment trailer stolen from the JVR Administration Centre parking lot. The trailer contained all of the equipment need to run their provincial program (34 sport specific wheelchairs, basketballs, spare wheelchair parts, specialized basketball nets, etc.).
The NRG Mini Wheelchair Basketball program is a wheelchair basketball program for children ages 6 to 16 with and without a disability. The program runs from September to May. The trailer is a silver-coloured 2006 Royal with the Saskatchewan licence plate 859 HDN.
The chairs were Quickie All Court brand, coloured orange and black, and were in various children's sizes. Each cost the organization about $4,000.
We have insurance for our equipment but we are unsure what will be covered and how long it will take to receive the funding. Any funds raised through this GoFundMe page will be used to purchase additional sports wheelchairs to expand our program and help with programming costs associated with running the program.
