When adversity strikes and bad hands are dealt…
Most people become numb, lay down or freeze when the thought of dealing with things that are deemed unfavorable or unbeatable become reality.
There are also people like Roxanne Brown…..These people stare the opposition in the eye and thrive in the chaos and the uncertainty of the curveballs that are thrown their way. They WILL NOT stop until they reach the outcome they are looking for. This endeavor will be no different. You see…Cancer made a big mistake in choosing our loved one “Foxy Roxy”; Cancer is the one fighting an unbeatable opponent. Roxy is fighting Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. The first step in this fight is chemotherapy, followed by a bilateral radical mastectomy with lymph node dissection, and radiation. We all know that this battle will not be easy, Cancer never is. Trust when we say Roxanne could use as many prayers and well wishes as possible, but we know she has enough in her to beat this. What Roxanne does need is help to pay the massive bills (she has to pay 40% of costs with her insurance plans, most of which have to be paid upfront), which have already begun piling up, to take down this monster. Many times she is the one doing whatever it takes to support others in need… this time around lets RALLY, let’s ALL RALLY around her with prayers and money to help her be victorious in the toughest battle of her life.
In typical Roxanne fashion her only wish in this campaign is to urge all women to get mammograms early and often.
However we, her friends and family, want her to be as successful in this as possible. This is why we are reaching out to raise money to help her with costs that will become too much for one person to take on.
