Melissa's Brain Surgery

I am hosting this fundraiser for Melissa. She is a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and grandmother.
The doctors believe Melissa has a benign brain tumur called a Pineocytoma and a condition called Chiari 1 Malformation. She has been sick for a very long time. Her list of symptoms are extensive. Some of her symptoms include severe headaches, constant pain and pressure in her head, neck and back pain, dizzy spells, intermittent numbness in her hands and feet, memory loss, vision problems, and trouble sleeping. She did her best trying to hide it from her friends and family, because she didn't want to worry anyone. We saw through her fake smiles, because she couldn't hide the pain in her eyes.
After several opinions and tests Melissa is finally scheduled for surgery on 3/17/15. Without surgery the tumor will continue to grow and the Chiari can cause permanent damage if not worse.
She received a phone call from the hospital letting her know how much the surgery will cost. Even though she has insurance, it is still very expensive. Between the cost of surgery and the doctors bills already piling up, she doesn't know where to turn. Not to mention she will be out of work for a very long time. She has such a big heart, she would never dream of asking for help. She said to me how can I ask for help when there are so many people out there who are suffering and in need. That is when I knew I had to step in.
Please help Melissa with her medical expenses, so she doesn't have to worry anymore and she can focus on healing. No amount is too small.
