Haiti Housing Project

The Center for Community Engagement at Mars Hill University and Mars Hill's Haiti service trip team is atempting to raise enough money to build a house for a family in Terrier Rouge, Haiti. The cost of building the house is $6,000, but we would also like to provide the family with a latrine as well, which costs $1,500. In total $7,500 will be the cost for us to give this family both a home and a latrine.

This project is not only a project that will provide a home and a latrine for a family in Terrier Rouge, but it will also stimulate the local economy since we hire Haitians to build the home.

Any little bit that can be donated will mean a lot to our over-all goal. even $5 or $10 dollars will mean the world to our Haiti team and our family in Haiti.
